I begin this new year by sharing some updates in the way I accompany therapeutic processes through Gestalt Therapy in Premià.
These changes have been carefully considered. They arise from experience and from the desire to continue offering a serious, ethical and sustainable therapeutic space.
A Clearer and More Organized System
Over the past months, I have implemented a new management system that allows me to:
- schedule sessions more efficiently,
- manage invoicing and payments transparently,
- and keep a more structured record of the therapeutic process.
This change is intended to provide clarity, continuity and care within the therapeutic framework, which is essential for meaningful work to be sustained over time.
Regarding First Meetings
From now on, I will no longer offer free first sessions.
Experience has shown me that, in many cases, this format attracted people who were not truly committed to the therapeutic process or to the basic agreements that support it.
Instead, I now offer a 30-minute informational call, where:
- I will briefly listen to your situation,
- explain how I work,
- and together we will assess whether this therapeutic support is the right fit.
The therapeutic process begins when there is a genuine willingness to engage, from both sides.
The Framework Is Also Care
Accompanying processes requires presence, responsibility and deep commitment.
For this to be possible, clear agreements must be maintained.
From now on:
- Sessions must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance.
- Otherwise, the full session fee will be charged.
- Exceptions will only be considered in justified situations (for example, illness).
- Sessions must be paid within a maximum of 24 hours.
- If more than three sessions remain unpaid, the process will be paused until the situation is regularized.
These boundaries are not meant to punish, but to protect the therapeutic space and the working relationship.
A New Resource: Session Recording and Transcription
Starting this year, and always with signed informed consent, I will offer the option to:
- record sessions using artificial intelligence tools,
- generate a transcription,
- and create a more accurate record of the work done.
This material will become part of the therapeutic record, which the client may access.
It is an optional resource, designed to support continuity, reflection and deeper integration of the therapeutic work.
In Closing
These changes respond to a clear conviction:
a solid therapeutic framework does not limit the process — it makes it possible.
I will continue to accompany with the same presence, respect and commitment as always, within a clearer, more structured and more coherent framework for everyone involved.
