Updates in the way I accompany Gestalt therapy processes in Premià de Dalt
I begin this new year by sharing some updates in the way I accompany processes through Gestalt therapy in Premià de Dalt (Maresme).
These changes have been carefully considered. They arise from experience and from my desire to continue offering a serious, ethical and sustainable therapeutic space.
In therapy, the therapeutic framework is just as important as the quality of the encounter. A clear structure protects the process and allows the work to unfold with continuity and responsibility.
A clearer and more organised system
Over the past months I have incorporated a new management system to organise Gestalt therapy sessions. This system allows:
easier booking of sessions
transparent management of payments and invoicing
a more organised record of the therapeutic process
The goal of this change is to bring greater clarity, continuity and care to the therapeutic framework, something essential for therapy to be sustained over time.
About the first meetings
From now on, I will no longer offer free first sessions.
Experience has shown me that this format often attracted people who were not fully committed to the therapeutic process or to the basic agreements that sustain the work.
Instead, I now offer a 30-minute introductory call, where:
I will briefly listen to your situation
I will explain how I work in Gestalt therapy
we will explore together whether this accompaniment may be appropriate
The therapeutic process begins when there is a genuine willingness from both sides to engage in the work.
The therapeutic framework is also part of care
Accompanying therapeutic processes requires presence, responsibility and deep involvement.
For this to be possible, clear agreements and boundaries are necessary.
From now on:
Sessions must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.
Otherwise, the full session fee will be charged.
Exceptions will only be considered in justified situations, such as illness.
Sessions must be paid within a maximum of 24 hours.
If more than three sessions remain unpaid, the process will be paused until the situation is regularised.
These limits are not meant to punish, but to protect the therapeutic space and the working relationship.
A new resource: session recording and transcription
From this year onwards, and always with signed informed consent, I will offer the possibility of:
recording sessions using artificial intelligence tools
generating a transcript of the session
creating a more accurate record of the therapeutic work
This material will become part of the record of the therapeutic process, which the client will be able to access.
It is an optional resource, designed to support continuity, reflection and integration of the therapeutic work.
To conclude
These changes respond to a clear conviction:
a good therapeutic framework does not limit the process — it makes it possible.
I will continue accompanying people with the same presence, respect and commitment as always, within a clearer, more carefully held and coherent framework for everyone involved.
